Shiny new discs out tomorrow, November 18th
by Nick Giancola posted November 17, 2008
New (sorta) from Belle & Sebastian: 2-disc set The BBC Sessions. The first disc is a compilation of unreleased tracks from 1996-2001 and the second is a live album recorded in Belfast, Ireland in 2001.

Kieran Hebden and Steve Reid are at it again: their fourth album together, NYC is out tomorrow. Don't miss these two live: 12/12 in NYC and 12/14 in Philly.

Irish DJ David Holmes releases his 10th studio album The Holy Pictures. (You've probably heard his music in the Ocean's Eleven series-he did some scoring for it.)

Day by Day by Afrobeat genius Femi Kuti.

Another live album from Phish: At the Roxy (Atlanta '93)

Post-rock duo El Ten Eleven's 3rd LP, These Promises Are Being Videotaped.

Cypress Hill percussionist Eric Bobo is releasing his debut solo album, Meeting of the Minds, on Nacional Records.

Also from Nacional this week: Around the World by Senor Coconut, a German DJ based in Santiago, Chile.

San Francisco's French Miami debut with a self-titled record. Listen: "Goddamn Best" mp3, "Science Fiction" mp3.

Also worth noting: CYNE's Pretty Dark Things, which hit stores as CD and digital on 10/7, is out tomorrow on two LP's.

Oh, and let's not forget Beyonce's latest: I Am... Sasha Fierce. Apparently Sasha is the badass alter-ego Beyonce takes on when she steps on stage.
