Welcome, old friends. Welcome, recent acquaintances. Welcome, google search bots. Welcome, all.
For all of you, except the machines, we think it necessary and helpful to explain this new incarnation of Everythingrock.com which, lucky for us, has not yet reached
moksha. Visually, the site should feel familiar to those who used it before, but in terms of logisitics, there may be some getting used to. We do think, however, that this new organization will, in the end, make finding content easier and more interesting.

We've essentially turned the homepage of ER into an advanced RSS reader made specifically for our site. Let's start from the top. If you aren't colorblind, the first thing you probably noticed was the situation at the top-right
In Rainbows. If you are colorblind, they are all different colors--but you should still be able to use the site, we hope. Each of these stripes represents one of our
new columns, each of which is explained here. Clicking on each stripe will take you to a version of the homepage which has its filters set to only look at entries for the column you clicked on.
The next thing needing explanation is the section on the homepage under the box that says Filters. Here, you can choose what you want to see out of the whole pool of ER articles. You can look at all types of articles, or pick which kind you like to see. The same thing works for artists.
If you were a registered user of the old website, don't worry, we're coming back with some limited but useful user features, including custom RSS feeds and commenting. Look forward to it!
We think the rest ought to explain itself, but if it doesn't don't hesitate to send us an email with a question or suggestion to
support@everythingrock.com.
